  1. Build a professional teaching profile

The first step to attracting learners is a complete, professional profile. On TeachyTalk you can:

Frequently asked questions for teachers

Short answers about teaching languages online and working with TeachyTalk

How do I sign up as an online language teacher?

Register on the site, complete your teacher profile and list the languages you can teach. Once your profile is approved you can open your online classes.

Do I need a qualification to teach online?

An international certificate is an advantage but not a requirement. Command of the language and the ability to teach it are what matter most.

Which platforms are classes held on?

Classes run on Skyroom, Google Meet and Classinar — each of them fully equipped for online teaching.

What equipment do I need to start teaching online?

A stable internet connection, a decent laptop and a good microphone are enough to run a class.

Can I teach part-time?

Yes. Teaching here is entirely flexible — you set your own class times.

What commission does TeachyTalk take?

TeachyTalk takes 20% of each class fee; the remaining 80% goes to the teacher. The more classes and learners you take on, the more you earn.

How do I contact TeachyTalk support?

Call the support team on +98 900 560 1191 with any question or problem.

How are class prices set?

You set the price of your own classes, based on your experience, skills, teaching record and the language itself. That way learners on any budget can find a teacher who fits.

How should I communicate with learners?

Only through the platform’s built-in messenger or TeachyTalk support. Contacting a learner outside the platform — sharing a phone number or social media account, for example — is a policy breach and may restrict your account. The rule exists to keep classes secure, transparent and consistent in quality.
